The marketplace is fine — Steve (and therfore NeXT) was unable to penetrate it due to his own hubris and simple mistakes. Read The Second Coming of Steve Jobs for clarification, and don’t be so apt to blaim Microsoft.

Adobe bought Frame and renamed it FrameMaker. Why don't they port that NeXTStep code for Frame and give us an OS X version of FrameMaker? And maybe Apple should help them do this.
